Familia y amigos, Feliz Navidad!
Gracias por la prayers, presents, and letters :)
There is no end to blessigs. I am grateful for the freedom to worship our Heavenly Father and to openly share with friends and foes, strangers and members, young and old, that which I hold closest to my heart. It is a priviledge to be called of God to share what I know. I know I have a loving Heavenly Father. He is mindful of each of us and our individual circumstances. We have a unique opportunity to express our love at this time of year by following the example of our Savior, by serving each individual around us, expecially those He has placed us with here on earth.
My family is a gift. They are so precious to me and I simply want the best for them--for them to be happy. The deepest level of happiness and joy comes through keeping the commands, the greatest of which are to love the Lord and to love our neighbor (who may very well live in the bedroom nextdoor). We won't always be there to tell them we love them. I love you. I am thankful for the time I've had so far with each of you. I am so thankful I have been born and raised by righteous and determined parents and for the example of each of you--Clarissa and Josh, Emily and Rod, Catherine, James, and Dallin. You have helped me develop into who I am now and will become. But we must remember it is only throught the grace of Jesus Christ that this change has been possible. It is through His divine love and mercy that we can repent, which is simply to have a change of heart and mind. Repentance show spiritual strength and endurance. This shows your committment to the Savior. I am grateful for the gift to repent and become better than I was the day before.
I pray we will make an effort to repent--to change--by lifting up eachother a little more often, to strengthen weak, to ease the burdens placed on others, to make someone else's day a little easier for them. I love all y'alls and pray you have a Christmas that allows you to be an example of the believers, to do as He would, to say as He would, to be as He is. Have a blessed Christmas! Hermana McNeece
